Meet our family out west

Last week we mentioned that our new Wentzville staff is training between our office and a "sister" location. Meet the smiling faces of Mid Missouri Dental Center, located in Columbia, MO!

From Left to Right: Precious (Dental Assistant), Lisa (Dental Assistant), Lauren (Dental Assistant), Kerri (Office Manager), Brittney (Dental Assistant), Donna (Reception), Karen (Dental Assistant and Reception), Ashleena (Dental Assistant), Jessica (Dental Assistant and Reception)

Mid Missouri Dental Center opened in 1996 and was actually the first office owned by Dr. Naegler and Dr. Todd. They may not bare our same name, but that doesn't mean we love them any less 😊

Our team in Columbia upholds the same values and practice the level of patient care that you're familiar with here at our St. Louis location. In addition to taking care of little ones, they also see pregnant women.

Mid Mo sees patients 5 days a week and are also very active in community outreach programs. At the beginning of each school year, the team heads out to the Back to School Health Fair that benefits all school aged children. The kids are provided with free health screenings, backpacks and school supplies to ensure every child starts the school year with a SMILE 😄

This year, Mid Mo is also participating in the Neighborhood Park Fun Days. They will have a booth set up and will be giving out free toothbrushes as well as educating families on the importance of dental care and hygiene from a young age.

How lucky are we to have such a great group of awesome, dedicated and compassionate dental professionals?!

As we continue to grow, we will be sure to keep your family updated about office news and any new faces you might be seeing during your next appointment. As always, if you have any questions or are wanting to transfer between our offices, give us a call.

If you're interested in becoming a patient at Mid Missouri Dental Center, please call the office at 573.814.1694. They are always accepting new, smiling patients!

Give Kids A Smile hosted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine

Give Kids A Smile Day October 8, 2018 SIUE School of Dental Medicine One of our amazing doctors, Dr. Kosten, is an assistant professor and the director of community dentistry at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine. Every year, Dr. Kosten and the students/staff at the SDM host Give Kids A Smile Day, sponsored by the American Dental Association. Give Kids A Smile is organized to provide free dental treatment to underserved children, and to promote community awareness about the needs for dental treatment.  Dr. Kosten says: “Our annual Columbus Day event provides a wonderful opportunity to provide treatment to hundreds of children. The holiday affords those needing urgent dental care to come see us. Children have their dental concerns addressed and have some fun at the same time.” Dr. Naegler and Dr. Todd, along with our wonderful team of assistants, provided dental treatment to children who were more apprehensive...our specialty!

"Why can't I come back for my child's treatment appointment?"

At Accent Dental, we always  want you to know what's going on with your child's oral health. It makes us happy to have parents in the back who are enthusiastic about getting involved and encouraging their children to promote healthy habits. After all, a healthy smile starts at home! That being said, sometimes cavities happen. Inadequate brushing and flossing, misinformation and sometimes even genetic factors make children susceptible to early childhood caries. This means we have to bring your little one back to the office for "restorative dentistry". If you have been a patient with us for a while, you know that our policy has always been only the doctor, assistant and patient are in the room during treatment appointments. While it might seem scary at first to let your child out of your sight, please know our main goal is to take care of your child in the most comfortable, efficient way possible. We always aim to instill in our parents the confidence that y
